A Love Letter to My Résumé Clients – Who Bring It in a Major Way

A Love Letter to My Résumé Clients – Who Bring It in a Major Way

Today’s article is a topic that is becoming close to my heart. When I started writing professionally, I didn’t think about much – except personal success. Like most people starting their own business, I was focused on getting results and proving to my friends and family that I could win the day. I’m now sitting in a different position and I have YOU to thank for it.

You’ve opened my eyes to a lot of things – but most importantly – to what seems to be a collective of humble, hardworking and earnest-minded individuals. You’re a special breed, tenacious in your hunger for something better for yourself, your families and the world we occupy. Many of you want to provide a more substantial contribution to your children and are seeking employment that fits the bill.

But the thing I adore most about you – is your ability to open your mind and bring a flexible attitude to the process. Are you open to suggestions on content and style? You bet. Trusting of my judgment when it comes to organization? Affirmative. Willing to go out on a limb and try something new? Almost exclusively.

I have you to thank for exposing me to the enjoyment of résumé creation. There’s no other type of writing that gives me greater satisfaction. And I’m pleased, proud and excited to continue assisting you with your résumés and cover letters.

I sincerely wish all of you the best – and leave you with these inspiring words by Henry Ford:

Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.
